Develop the athlete.
Strengthen the team.

One development record for every athlete in your program, men's and women's, freshman to senior. Athletes reflect on their phones. Coaches see the whole picture. Every conversation starts with something real.

The development cycle

Potential needs a plan.

Three checkpoints a season. The same four steps every time, so athletes learn how to use feedback and coaches never start from zero.

1

Reflect

Athletes rate themselves on character and sport skills. Eight minutes on a phone at practice.

2

Discuss

The coach rates the same skills, then sits down with the athlete and the two views side by side.

3

Plan

One focus. One thing to practice. A review date. Written down and shared.

4

Revisit

Midseason and end of season, the record shows what moved. Season after season, it becomes a story.

Two perspectives, one record

The gap is the conversation.

Most tools rate athletes. Blu Ocean Teams puts the athlete's own view next to the coach's view. Where they agree, you have a strength to build on. Where they differ by two or more, you have the first thing to talk about.

Character comes first. The Blu Print measures 15 blocks in five layers: Foundation, Team, Craft, Pressure, and Peak. It is the same for a point guard, a setter, a quarterback, and a distance runner. Skill surveys are built sport by sport with coaches in that sport.
